Her hair worn up or down,in a ponytail or plait, city girl Isha Kakaria would rarely step out without an accessory in her hair. And then the choices begin to diminish. Little girls have choices of hair bands and clips but grown ups dont take dressing up hair seriously and there arent many options in the market, says the 26-year-old. A familiar face in the city as founder member of the active NGO Tamanna,Kakaria has explored her creative side with Tanusiyaa, her hair accessories label along with partner Jaskaran Singh. Its an era of customisation and each one wants to look different than the other. With Tanusiyaa,we create headbands and clip-on hair accessories that are customised according to colour and style of ones choice, she explains. Currently showcasing her Blossom collection for Spring Summer 2012,theres a floral accent in all the hair pieces that shes retailing through Facebook and a couple of retail outlets. The two are looking forward to working on a line of hair accessories for men soon. We want to keep those who wear turbans in mind. It will have a fair amount of bling but in an elegant way, says Kakaria.
