Time really flies! In this case,it vroomed on luxury wheels as Volvo Car India along with Bhagat (AB Carz Pvt Ltd) celebrated their first year of completion of operations of the dealership in Chandigarh. Says Paul de Voijs,Managing Director,Volvo Car India,”Punjab ranks amongst India’s best performing states in the consumer market segment especially the market for luxury cars. We are confident that in the past one year our products have appealed to the consumers in this region.” Voijs also talked about expansion plans with the launch of Volvo XC60.

“Consumers in Punjab have shown optimistic interest towards the brand and we are confident that 2009 will be an even more positive year for us,” adds Raj Naresh Singh,MD,Bhagat. Inaugurated in March 2008,the Chandigarh dealership marked Volvo’s entry into the Punjab region. In addition to new car sales,the dealership has a separate children play area and includes functions like the sale of accessories,spares,workshop services and bodyshop and varied financial services,all according to Volvo standards.
