Alliance Francaise Chandigarh is giving film connoisseurs in the city a chance to experience the Cannes Film Festival. The institute will screen eight Indian films hand-picked from this year’s Cannes Festival. The masterpieces that redefined the language of Indian cinema and catapulted it to a global platform will be screened from August 22 to 26,5:50 pm onwards each day. The boutique includes Vikram Motwane’s Udaan,A Very Very Silent Film by Manish Jha,Rituparno Ghosh’s Dosar,Khoj by Tribid Poddar,Printed Rainbow by Gitanjali Rao,Anirban Dutta’s Tetris,Chinese Whispers by Raka Dutta and Marana Simhasanam by Murali Nair.
