Video prints filmed and revived,cartoon characters designed,script board finalized,film shot and edited…the journey was long but worth the effort,” smiles Ankur Kapoor,as he takes seat at Frameboxx after winning the Silver Trophy in the Best Animation Film category for his film ‘Child’s Play’ at the first Frameflixx Awards for Animation,Visual Effects and Short Films,Mumbai. Based on the impact of industrialization and environmental damage on our planet,Ankur Kapoor was assisted by his team comprising Atul Kashyap,Harjeet Singh,Isha Walia,Parvinder Singh and Rajan Sharma. “Our film was also nominated at the FICCI BAF Awards held in Mumbai,” adds Kapoor,before moving on to talk about another short film ‘Half the Truth’ that got him the Platinum Achievers’ Trophy and the Best Live Action Film Award. While,he is addressed as “the most talented animator” by his friends,three others from the institute also proved their mettle in the contest. “Harneet Singh was awarded the Best Post-Production Demoreel Award for Excellence in Visual Effects and Paramjit Singh bagged the coveted Animation Grand Challenger Trophy,” tells Naveen Gupta,Executive Director and CEO of Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects.
