Fire in Solan factory

Property and goods worth crores were destroyed in a fire that broke out in HRI Cosmetics Factory at Buranwala village in Industrial Estate Barotiwala,on Sunday night.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire broke out around 8.30 p.m. and destroyed the machinery,raw and finished materials causing heavy losses. Fire tenders from Baddi,Nalagarh and Parwanoo took over 15 hours to control the blaze.

Factory manager Jayant Kumar said the exact cause of fire and total damage was being assessed.
