Fatehabad youth dies in accident

A 23-year-old resident of Fathabad died,while his friend was injured when the motorcycle they were on was hit by a Haryana Roadways bus near Chandimandir on Thursday. Amit Kumar,who had come with his friend Jaipal from Fatehabad for a job interview,was on his way from Pinjore to Chandigarh when the accident took place. The two were rushed to the general hospital,Sector 3 where Amit succumbed to his injuries. His body was handed over to the family after a postmortem.

“The two were trying to get into police force and had come for the interview,” said a police official.

This is the second case in the recent past when a Haryana Roadways bus was involved in a fatal accident. Recently,a student of Swami Devi Dyal College had died after he fell off a Haryana Roadways bus and crushed under its wheels.
