Family shocked

The news of their son’s death came as a shock to the Una-based family,who were inconsolable as they came to collect the body at the PGI mortuary. Father of the deceased,Amarjeet Pathania,a retired government employee,kept cursing his fate. The family was informed of his death at 3 am by the police. “I have lost everything. There is nothing left in the world for me,” sobbed Pathania,as he was handed over the body after postmortem.

He said he had asked his son to return home last evening,but Abhishek told them he will stay with his friends and return home the next day. “I don’t know why he was driving the car and where the three were going at that hour. I am cursed,” he said. Brother of the victim,Anurag,said Abhishek was extremely bright and intelligent. “He was looking forward to his MBA course and had great dreams in his life,” he said.
