Hibiscus (in the picture) is one of the most popular decorative flowering shrub. Those who prefer to have a unique plant in their garden should opt for a blue hibiscus. The single flowering species is often seen in hill stations,and can be spotted on the highway,while driving towards Solan. Often offered to goddess Durga,it can be purchased from any nursery on the highway.

Last year I forgot to spray karathane and thiodan in the mango tree,to prevent premature flower and fruit drop. Should I start doing it now?

Wait for some time,as the plant is still not flowering. The first stage is when it starts flowering. This is followed by the second stage,when the flowers fully open,and the spraying is done for the third time when the fruit is pea-sized.

There are haphazard lines on the leaves of my cineraria plant. What could be the reason? Is there anything I should do?

The haphazard lines are due to the presence of leaf miner insects. These suck sap from the leaves and damage them. Spray rogor,dissolved with water,in the proportion of one milliliter to a liter of water. Repeat the spray after a fortnight.

Am I late for planting peaches? Which variety should I grow if I want to get the fruits early?

Try to source plants that have not yet sprouted. Opt for Partap,Parbhat,Early Grande or Shan-i-Punjab these get fruits earlier.

Can I plant tomatoes now? Also,I have two beds of spinach and fenugreek can I plant more seeds of these?

Continue to get cuttings from already existing plants. After the cutting,broadcast urea and give water this will increase the life of the plants and lead to more produce.
