Pastel IP hones the graphic designer in you

There’s one thing that will never go out of fashion: the need for specialists. From general to specific, that’s the call, and the latest to join are graphic designers. “That’s the reason we thought of coming up with an institute for graphic designers for internet, print and broadcast industry,” informs Rajesh Turakhia,Managing Director,Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects,at the inauguration of first Pastel IP Training Centre in Chandigarh.

A branch of Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects,”It was conceptualized keeping in view the fact that we live in a world where communication plays an important role and graphics form a vital part of it. A tool which suffers from serious paucity of quality professionals, specially for the web, print and basic broadcast industries,” Naveen Gupta,Executive Director & CEO,Frameboxx, chips in that’s when they decided to conduct an extensive research and create comprehensive courses and curriculum.

“We offer three programmes and one integrated one-year diploma programme, besides running weekend professional development programmes for working designers, artists,DTP operators and printing technologists, and summer camps for the students who wish to learn the fundamentals of printing, web designing and broadcasting,” Gupta tells us that their students are guaranteed jobs in the growing media and entertainment industry. “With compound annual growth rate of 12.5 per cent (according to PwC & FICCI report) of the industry, the course will provide you opportunities to become a freelancer, graphic director, creative director, layout artist, web designer, flash animator, video editor or motion graphic designer. This, particularly with Pastel IP tying up with many companies to provide internship,” tells Gupta. What’s more is they have also launched Pastel@School program which aims to set up joint ventures with schools to introduce multimedia and creative art education at the school level. Now,that sounds fun!
