DAV College turns venue for lecturer’s wedding

College principal Dr B C Josan said,“We haven’t done anything wrong. Weddings of those belonging to our DAV family have been held in the past as well. We,at DAV,follow the management committee rules and shall continue holding such functions in future too.”

The hustle-bustle on the campus caused a lot of disturbance and inconvenience for students,who have been taking their quarterly exams.

“It is indeed strange that the college premises were used like a marriage palace by the authorities. The activity for the marriage preparation disturbed those preparing for the exams,” said a student of the college.

Interestingly,the invitation cards distributed by the groom’s family also mentioned the DAV College as the venue for the wedding.
