CTU union holds protest

The Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) union held a protest following an argument with General Manager S P Parmar on Wednesday. The members of the union raised slogans and stated that their demands were not being fulfilled.

Union president Bhupinder Singh alleged that the official misbehaved with them when they put forward their demands. Thereafter the union members gathered and staged a protest.

They claimed that the functioning of the buses was being affected as spare parts,including tyres were not being provided.
