Summation of Perspectives as the exhibitions title suggests is about various perspectives,thought processes and styles. The eight artists who are showcasing their works at the exhibition which started on Saturday belong to Chandigarh,Ludhiana and Mumbai. While Ajit Kaur works in acrylic and her Buddha series captures various moods and expressions of Buddha,Darshan Saggus watercolours are serene,as he chooses to depict fields,streets and landscapes. Kamal Nath from Ludhiana has as many as 16 works on display,centred around various themes,including her new series Brahmin Boy,inspired by her son,where Nath has painted a boy in prayers during various stages of his life. Navneet Kaur is inspired by the seasons,while Rashim Guptas oil paintings are based on the theme of freedom,with locks and keys as metaphors to talk about his subject. Besides,there are works by Tejinder Ladi Singh and Vishakha Pandit.

The exhibition is on till October 7,at Punjab Kala Bhawan,
