Non-model schools repeat Class XII feat,fare better
The government non-model schools showed an improvement in the Class X results this year. The performance of model schools,however,dipped slightly.
The qualifying percentage of model schools was 85.80 per cent,against last years 87.37 per cent.
The highest qualifying percentage was of GMSSS,Sector 16,at 99.52 per cent.
Of the 209 students who appeared,208 qualified in the exam. Three students scored a perfect 10 CGPA. Next in line was GMHS,Sector 42,where 95.38 per cent students qualified the exam.
As many as 95.71 per cent students of GMHS,Sector 12,qualified. GMSSS Modern Housing Complex,Manimajra saw 94.12 per cent students passing,while at GMHS,Sector 25,it was 93.18 per cent.
Among the schools that fared worst in the model category were GMHS Vikas Nagar,Mauli Jagran and GMHS-31.
The qualifying percentage of non-model schools increased to 52.29 per cent as against last years 47.83 per cent.
In this category,GHS Raipur Khurd saw a qualifying percentage of 87.18 per cent,while in GHS-35,79.49 per cent students passed. Of the total 6,789 students who appeared from the government schools,4,773 cleared the exam.
