Priyal was required to really get into the skin of the character and be seen cooking and relishing a piping hot plate of anda bhurji. While the director relieved her of the agony of devouring the dish by throwing in a similar-looking vegetarian substitute,there was no escaping the act of breaking an egg and cooking the bhurji. The poor girl had to pretend to relish the aroma of freshly cooked eggs while she was practically on the verge of fainting out of nausea. It was horrible. As if smelling eggs wasnt bad enough,a little bit of the egg batter stuck to my hair. I shampooed my hair twice that day with an extra dose of conditioner. But dont conditioners have egg in them too?

Dharmesh Shah is quite a dictator on the sets of his shows. The director is well known for being a tough taskmaster and calling the shots in an authoritative manner on the sets. He once had a fight with actress Samta Saxena on the sets of Chhoti Bahu who objected to his rudeness. This time,it seems,his wrath has descended on newcomer Binny Sharma who is the female protagonist of Sanjog Se Bani Sangini.

The young actress broke down and later refused to emerge from her vanity van. But weve also heard that Dharmesh is quite friendly with the more established cast members like Iqbal Khan and Additi Gupta. Could this be a case of old-school partiality here?

No holds barred

The reclusive writer Salim Khan is not known for giving interviews. In a rare one-on-one on ETCs Bollywood Business,he dropped a few bombs while chatting with Komal Nahta about the old days. He declared that he had a large part in furthering Amitabh Bachchans career as he was the one who introduced the actor to Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra. He also said that it was just him not him and Javed Akhtar who created the angry young man persona. Looks like with his revelation,the venerable writer will soon be creating quite a few angry old men as well.
