Chandigarh Carnival: Know the dates, events and theme

The parade will have tableaux made by students of the Government College of Arts in Chandigarh.

On the first day, singer Satinder Sartaaj will perform at the open ground opposite the Museum and Art Gallery from 7 pm onwards.

On October 26, a live performance will be held by Fero Fluid at the same venue at 7 pm. Singer Mohammad Irfan will enthrall the audience at the open ground on the last day of the carnival.

Moreover, art workshops, displays by eminent artists, and photography exhibitions, will be held on all three days from 10 am to 6 pm.

A special “Chandigarh Down The Memory Lane” exhibition will be organised to display vintage photographs of Chandigarh.

Various activities to entertain the kids have also been planned.

A singing performance by India’s first band on wheels ‘Flowing Karma’ shall also be a part of the carnival.

On the concluding day, a 5-km-long women’s cycle rally on the theme ‘saree and sustainability’ will be flagged off at 7 am. Also, a game of cricket involving specially-abled sportspersons will be held on October 27.
