Car snatched at gunpoint

Two unidentified people snatched a Maruti Swift from a Mohali resident at gunpoint outside Grace Marriage Palace on the Zirakpur-Kalka highway near the Panchkula barrier late on Friday night. Navjit Singh,a resident of Phase III-A,Mohali,reported to the cops that when he and his wife came out of the Palace at around 12.15 am and sat in their car,two unidentified persons appeared on the scene in a Maruti 800 car. “One of them came out of the car and at pistol point,asked me to hand him over my car.”
