Prabhjots aiming for PU politics

When it comes to starting young,Prabhjot Singh Dimpy,the president of GGDSD College,Sector 32,surely leads the race. For he became a supporter of Students of Panjab University (SOPU) when he was all of 12. Ive been a silent supporter of SOPU for the last eight years. This,because of my brother who was a class representative from the party during his college times, he tells us,the party and politics have ever since appealed to him. I liked the transparent and clear agendas of the party. However,back then I never campaigned because I had little time left after shooting practices and studies, he says that now that hes won the seat,hes concentrating on improving campus placements,internships and better sitting arrangements at the canteen. Also high on the agenda is getting new franchises for the Hot Shop and Wifi facility and initiating Clean Your Campus drive, reels Prabjot.

Pursuing BA (IT) from the college,Prabhjots done his schooling from St Josephs Senior Secondary School ,Sector 44,and is passionate about cars,music,friends and poetry. Though I usually divide the day to accommodate it all,for now my priority is my college. I want to work for it with full dedication, Prabjot says while principal Dr AC Vaid is his inspiration,the students in general motivate him to work hard. Their support reinforces my zeal to work for them, he chirps.

As for his future plans, I want to continue with my farming business and also get into real politics. But for now,its Panjab University politics that that I am aiming for. Best of luck!
