BTS Royals,GNPS & CCA-36 in final

BTS Royals registered 21-run win over Greenfield Cricket Academy in the first semifinal match of the U-11 BTS and Saupin’s Cricket Tournament played at Banyan Tree School Sector 48 in Chandigarh on Saturday. In the second semifinal,GNPS & CCA-36 beat Saupin’s Fighters by a huge margin of 108 runs to storm into the final.

After winning the toss Greenfield Cricket Academy invited BTS Royals to bat first. Riding high on Swapnil (29) BTS Royals scored 82 for the loss of five wickets in 15 overs. Batting second,Greenfield Cricket Academy were bundled out for 61 runs in 14.5 overs. Honey picked up three wickets. In the other semifinal match,GNPS & CCA-36 posted a huge total of 171 for the loss of three wickets in 15 overs. Simerjeet hammered impressive 87 runs. In reply,Saupin’s Fighters were bolwed out for 63 in 9.5 overs. Ankit scalped five wickets to enable his team emerge victorious.

Match II: GNPS & CCA-36: 171 for 3 in 15 overs (Simerjeet 87,Harinder 34,Varun 1 for 3) beat Saupin’s Fighters: 63 all out in 9.5 overs (Yogesh 31,Ankit 5 for 7,Charanpreet 3 for 18) by 108 runs.
