This,as well as YouTubes BoxOffice is buzzing day in and day out.
The Hindi film fraternity is connecting with its huge fan base through a variety of platforms and Internet seems to be topping the charts. Besides,since India has the most number of Bollywood fans and the number of Facebook users exceeds 25 million,we thought the website would be an effective medium to get Bollywood celebrities to bond, said Kevin D Souza,Country Growth Manger,Facebook,explaining the logic behind the launch of Bollywood on Facebook page an official outlet for exclusive updates from the stars.
Meanwhile,Yahoo! has launched Yahoo!Movieplex a video destination that allows users to enjoy licensed full-length movies for free,through Internet on demand. It offers premium,licensed and original content through robust partnerships and allows the consumer to experience movies online in a clutter-free environment. Presently,we have access to over 3,000 movies in seven languages, said Nitin Mathur,Senior Director Marketing,Yahoo! India.
