While the BJP has already began its campaign for the Dasuya bypoll with its leaders visiting around 40 villages,the Congress will reportedly start campaigning only after their candidate files nomination on June 23.
Though BJP leaders have been campaigning in the region for the last one week,the family of BJP candidate,Sukhjeet Kaur wife of deceased sitting MLA Amarjit Singh Sahi joined them three to four days ago.
Kaur,along and her son Sunny Sahi,have been visiting over a dozen of villages daily and meeting people. She will file her nomination papers on June 22.
On the other hand,Congress candidate Arun Kumar Micky Dogra,son of former party minister Ramesh Chander Dogra,will start his campaign from June 23 after filing the nomination papers,said his brother Raman Dogra.
Peoples Party of Punjab,meanwhile,has repeated its old candidate from the area,Advocate Bhupinder Singh Ghumman.
