The Australian police have managed to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the attack on Nitin Garg,a Jagraon resident, who was stabbed by unidentified persons in Melbourne when he was on his way to work. He later succumbed to his injures at the Melbourne Royal Hospital on January 2.
A team of detectives of Victoria police have traced clues from across the road towards the Hungry Jacks restaurant in West Footscray through Cruickshank Park of the city. The police have found some pictures of Nitin standing at the Yarraville Railway Station from where he boarded a train to work. These pictures, which are a part of CCTV footage, show him dressed in a black and white striped hooded jacket. The Australian police have also released the video clippings of the last moments of Nitin.
His uncle Ashok Kumar said: After Nitins cremation,we have not heard from the Australian government. Good that the Australians are finally trying to trace his killers.
Kumar added,It would be nice if the Australian government gives us the footage of the railway station. These are the last pictures of our son and hold a lot of meaning for us.
