CHANDIGARH: Phool Chand Mullana,Haryana Congress chief was today admitted to PGI in the afternoon after he complained of numbness in his body. Sources say that he was brought in at about 3 pm and is currently under observation for the next 48 hours. However,doctors attending to him say that his condition is stable and investigations are on.

Blood donation camp

Chandigarh: State Bank of India Medical Institute branch sponsored a blood donation camp at Sacred Heart School,Sector 26,Chandigarh. The team of doctors led by Dr Suchet Sachdeva and para medical staff from the PGIMER,Chandigarh assisted in blood collection. The parents of the students of the Sacred Heart School donated blood. 350 units of blood were collected during the camp. Assistant General Manager Medical Institute branch Viantia Shourie inaugurated the camp.

AIDS meet held

Chandigarh: Fortis Hospital,Mohali conducted two sessions to create awareness about AIDS today. One session was held at the Gurukul Global School,Manimajra.
