Although Rekha gave birth to a son,he suspected that Abhinav was not his offspring.

The incident occurred on the night of February 21. Bhushan left his son in a gutter to drown and proceeded to lodge a complaint with the police stating that his son had been kidnapped. During investigation, police found that Bhushan’s statements were contradictory and began to interrogate him. Bhushan admitted that he had thrown his son in the gutter and covered it with the lid. The police recovered the dead body of the boy from the gutter.

DCP Krishan Kumar on Sunday had stated that Bharat Bhushan had killed his son as he had a doubts about his wife’s fidelity.

The DCP said that Bhushan made misleading statements while lodging the complaint, claiming that upon waking up early morning on February 21,the couple had found their son was missing.
