All That Bling

The rains are here,bringing a hint of change in the weather. It’s a time when the city boasts sales of every sort,and there’s a spurt in retail exhibitions. Looking to cater to brides to be,Trendz Un’ltd,an event management company,is presenting Luxury Wedding Exhibition 2012. To be hosted at the JW Marriott Chandigarh from July 14,the two-day exhibition will see fashion and jewellery designers present their collections.

Among them is designer Sagarika Mittal. Though well-known for the Coochie Coo label for children,Mittal will be presenting her couture line for women at the show. A regular on the exhibition circuit,designer Jaya is a part of the show and will present her latest creations under the label Miyra. The exhibition will also have an international flavour. Love Niche,a British label spearheaded by Nisha Vedhara and well-known for party wear,is being brought to the city for the first time.

Looking to tap into a new client base will be Srishti,a jewellery label from Delhi,which will showcase its diamond jewellery collection. The Luxury Wedding Exhibition will also host Emerald India,an organisation that’s reviving handicrafts. Wedding planners,photographers,decor labels and trousseau packers will complete the line-up.
