Confidence is something which comes with great ease to Rishi Bhutani. The new kid on the Bollywood block is pretty sure that everyones going to love his acting skills. Its in my blood, says Rishi,who will debut as a lead in his own home production,Bolo Raam,this December. A murder mystery,Rishi promises that this one will be a gripping thriller. Starring Naseeruddin Shah,Om Puri and Padmini Kohlapure,the films being produced by Rishis big brother,Goldy Bhutani of Shree Keshav Films and written and directed by their friend and thespian,Rakesh Chaturvedi Om.
Rakesh has done a lot of plays,and he is making his debut as a director with Bolo Raam, tells Rishi,who was game for making a film the minute Rakesh narrated the story to him. Its about a mother-son relationship,and how the mother is mysteriously murdered leaving the son in a cage of silence, Rishi,of course,plays the mute son,Raam. Quiz this Ghaziabad lad how acting became his line of action,and he credits his brother,Goldy,for pushing him into it. He was the one who said I had the talent,and hes funding the film, says the actor who used to bunk classes to take part in school theatre.
