The hotels new round-the-clock deli and patisserie section,Chandigarh Baking Company (CBC),is ready for orders. Tucked right at the end of the lobby and lounge area,its the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and hot-off-the-rack muffins that lead us there. Warm and welcoming,CBC offers a selection of cakes,cookies and coffee. This weeks specials include chocolates,blueberries and cheesecakes. We will present an innovatively designed variety of baked offerings in cheesecakes along with chocolates,giving our guests a peek into our chefs culinary arts, says Vivin Kuriakose,food and beverage director at JW Marriott. Situated on the lobby level,with a lot of natural light streaming in through the huge windows,the ambience convinces you to sit down and unwind with a relaxing cuppa paired with a chocolate truffle. For those who dont have a sweet tooth,there are made-to-order sandwiches and burgers,and a variety of handmade breads to choose from. With the weather getting pleasant,it wont be a bad idea to try the outdoor seating area. The CBC is not too harsh on the pocket a coffee for two with desserts should leave you lighter by around Rs 700.
