193 honoured at Sanawar school function

The Lawrence School Sanawar celebrated its annual prize distribution on Monday. As many as 193 prizes were distributed while 21 students were awarded with Scholars Tie.

The Lawrence School Sanawar celebrated its annual prize distribution on Monday. As many as 193 prizes were distributed while 21 students were awarded with Scholars Tie. Justice Mehtab S Gill,senior judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court who is also an alumni of the school,was the chief guest at the function.

While Gurbani Sekhon received Yog Raj Palta Memorial Trophy for art,study cup was awarded to Himalaya House. BD Study cup was won by Vindhya House.

While taking about his school days,Justice Gill advised students to keep themselves way from any kind of violence and also they should never forget their roots and should remain grounded.

Headmaster Praveen Vasisht read out the annual report and said that he has waged a war against bullying and physical violence in any form on the school premises.

I have taken tough decisions in the past and will never hesitate to take similar ones in the future too. India has to lead the world and Sanawar has to provide leaders to India, said Vasisht.
