(Express Photo)Yashika Khatri, a student from the first batch of BA in Defence and National Security Studies (DNSS) of the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) in Vadodara, has been selected for the prestigious Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Yashika cleared the competitive Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and was recommended by the 3 Air Force Selection Board (AFSB), Gandhinagar, a statement from the MSU said on Thursday.
She also holds a ‘C’ Certificate with Alpha Grade from the 3 GUJ BN NCC Vadodara (Army Wing).
Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of MSU, said in a statement, “This is a moment of great pride for the university. Yashika Khatri’s achievement symbolises the commitment of our institution to fostering excellence. The Faculty of Arts, including Dean Professor Kalpana Gavli, expressed pride in the selection of Yashika.
