On Tuesday, the All Vadodara Trade Development Association issued a circular to its members, seeking their response to the suggestion that shops and establishments operate only between 8 am and 4 pm, in view of the rising Covid-19 cases in the city.

The Association of Hospitals and Specialists of Vadodara offered a tentative list of 61 hospitals in two segments -- 31 of these are defined as "large corporate level infrastructure facilities" in Segment II and 30 are "without ICU facilities" in Segment I -- who have agreed to treat Covid-19 patients, making up a total of 1,027 beds.
