State prepares for Libya evacuees

Even as the Government of India has made special arrangement to bring back Indians from Libya,the state government has made some arrangements for its citizens in New Delhi.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi has asked the Resident Commissioner of Gujarat in New Delhi to start a Gujarat helpline centre at Delhi international airport and make special arrangements for food and boarding facilities at Gujarat Bhavan and also provide medical services if required.

The CM has also asked the commissioner to make special arrangements for those who want to return to Gujarat. Two helplines numbers have been set up for Gujaratis returning from Libya. These are 011-46273200/46278700.
