New AMTS routes flagged off

Health Minister Anandiben Patel and Law Minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja flagged off buses on nine new routes on Monday to take urban transportation facility to areas covered under new city limits. In the beginning,35 buses have been deployed on these routes,said an official release.

Patel,who flagged off buses on route numbers 120 and 110,along with Jadeja,said that the state government was actively going ahead in providing best urban transportation facilities. She said that the state government had provided development grants worth Rs 672 crore for Ahmedabad city which was being used with utmost diligence in a well planned manner. She expressed hope that an appropriate use of technology in new civic areas would upgrade and increase basic civic facilities.
