Says HC verdict like blessings from Mahatma who wanted Ram Rajya
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti,Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday termed the Ayodhya verdict as a blessing from the father of the nation and said it is a good sign to realise Gandhijis ideology of Ram Rajya.
Modi, who offered prayers at Kirti Mandir, the birth place of Gandhiji,on Mahatmas birth anniversary, wrote in the visitors book that the high court ruling is like blessings from Mahatma Gandhi and the verdict is a good sign to realise Gandhijis ideology of creating Ram Rajya.
Modi also wrote that Gandhijis thoughts are still a source of inspiration. Mahatma Gandhi, from his young days till he left the world, lived with the name of Lord Ram. In the administrative sphere also,he had suggested a concept of Ram Rajya, Modi later told reporters.
It is good that the Ayodhya verdict has come just two days ahead of Gandhi Jayanti and the issue which was pending for long has sorted out by the courts, he said. The CM is on a whirlwind tour of Porbandar,Bhavnagar,Rajkot and Jamnagar. In Rajkot,Modi took on the Central government saying the battle is between Gujarat and the government in Delhi. It is battle against high-handedness and torture by the government in Delhi, he told BJP workers.
They have destroyed the fabric of democracy. Gujarat will not tolerate this. They have been threatening us to keep the jails ready. Threats and I? You should know better by now. I think you (Congress) have dialled a wrong number. Dare not tease us, Modi thundered. The PM said in J&K that the police should exercise restraint. What if I had said something similar? The so-called secular forces should notice this. When policemen are getting killed, the PM has asked them to be restrained, the CM said. Inflation, corruption,Commonwealth Games, terrorism,Naxalites,Pakistan,Bangladesh, cabinet minister, state leader, every thing is out of control for the Congress lame duck government, Modi said.
