Never mind if Karan Johar and his home banner Dharma Productions are synonymous with popcorn romances,their latest is ironically titled I Hate Love Stories. The film will be directed by Punit Malhotra,the nephew of Johars costume designer buddy Manish Malhotra,and it pairs Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan together for the first time. A romantic date film, is how Sonam describes it. So true to their branding,the Dharma banner is sticking to its tried-and-tested love story genre.

As for casting Imran and Ranbir Kapoor in another project,Nilufer Qureshi,the spokesperson for Dharma,clarifies that there is no such project while admitting that it is a fab combo and then reiterating,unfortunately Dharma does not have them together in a project yet.
