Jamnagar MPs absconding nephew arrested

Vishal Madam,a nephew of Congress MP from Jamnagar Vikram Madam,who had been absconding for last several years,was arrested by the city crime branch in Ahmedabad last night,police said on Saturday.

Vishal Madam,a nephew of Congress MP from Jamnagar Vikram Madam,who had been absconding for last several years,was arrested by the city crime branch in Ahmedabad last night,police said on Saturday.

Vishal Madam was arrested late last night, JCP (crime branch) Mohan Jha said.

Vishal faces several criminal cases including murder,attempt to murder,kidnapping and extortion and was also linked to the kidnapping of Rajkot-based jewellers son Bhaskar Parkesh,police said.

Vishal has been absconding after being released on bail in a murder case five years ago,official sources said.

A team of Jamnagar police would soon take the custody of Vishal,sources added.

Vikram Madam too faces allegation of creating hurdles for an an oil company in Jamnagar which was laying pipeline there.
