Jaitley meets Modi

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley met Chief Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar on Friday. The two are understood to have discussed the legal issues arising out of the alleged fake encounter cases in the state among others. The meeting between Jaitley — who was in the state capital to attend a programme organised by Gujarat National Law University — and Modi lasted for about 45 minutes,according to party sources. Gujarat Minister of State for Home Amit Shah was also present at the meeting when the leaders reportedly discussed the legal issues pertaining to the killing of Ishrat Jahan and Sohrabuddin Sheikh,they added.
