Man kills gay partner after he refuses sexual favours
Surat: A 25-year-old diamond polisher was beaten to death by one of his colleagues on Monday night after he refused to his demands for sexual favours. The police said Ajay Gohil and Sumit Sabadia (25) were close friends and used to work in a diamond polishing unit in Sneh Mudra Society in Kapodara. On Monday night,Ajay approached Sumit for sexual favours. But Sumit refused to comply,which led to an altercation. Ajay woke up on Tuesday morning,took a wooden plank and started hitting Sumit repeatedly. Later,Ajay fled from the spot. Their common friend called up the Police Control Room and lodged a complaint with Kapodara police station,said the police.

Inspector V B Patel said: “It seems Ajay and Sumit had a physical relationship for long. But yesterday,Sumit refused to his demands,which led to the altercation and the subsequent murder. We are looking for Ajay. Both were working in the same firm for the last six months.”

Two girls electrocuted in Amreli school
Two students in a government primary school in Timla village of Amreli district were electrocuted while they were cleaning their classroom on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Jignashaben Hakkubhai Vala and Rekhaben Manubhai Mayani. Investigating officer,Sub-Inspector Mavji Depada,said there were some naked wires on the staircase. As soon as Jignasha and Rekhaben stepped on the staircase,both died on the spot.
