In another incident last week, a man was killed and another was injured in a mob attack in Vadodara. Police said eight people have been arrested in the murder case.

They then allegedly tied him to a pole and thrashed him with a stick, abused him and accused him of being a thief. Based on the video of the incident that was shared on social media, police nabbed 10 accused and arrested them on Monday.

Officers of the Navsari district police have also appealed to the residents to not take law into their hands over prevailing rumours of dacoit attacks and urged residents to turn in any suspects to the police.
