Gujarat Confidential: Grain ATMs

At a New Year ‘sneh milan’ held at her office in Bhavnagar on Saturday, Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Nimuben Bamaniya took a “pledge” that grain ATMs would be started in all “constituencies in Gujarat”. She also said that Bhavnagar “could soon get a Vande Bharat and Indigo air connectivity”, according to a PIB statement. Bamaniya had inaugurated Gujarat’s first grain ATM, called “Annapurti”, in Bhavnagar city last year. Present at the gathering among various local BJP leaders was newly inducted Agriculture Minister in the state Cabinet Jitu Vaghani.
