Union Home Minister Amit Shah concluded his Gujarat visit on Sunday with an address at Shashwat Mithila Mahotsav in Gandhinagar and a “political message” with reference to the upcoming Bihar elections. Shah first reiterated the promise of building a grand temple of Goddess Sita at her birthplace in Bihar’s Mithilanchal. He then asked the people of Bihar, who have settled in Gujarat, to come to Bihar during the state elections. “Elections are going to be held in Bihar. All of you come. I am also going to camp there. Will meet there,” Shah said before he left.

Women’s Day At Cafe

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, during his recent two-day visit to Ahmedabad, celebrated the International Women’s Day at Kamala Cafe, an initiative of SEWA (Self Employed Women’s Association). The Congress leader was seen enjoying food like bajra pizza and chatting with female workers at the cafe. SEWA’s food social enterprise, run by women, focuses on food from crops like bajra, jowar and ragi, and serves food in a “green setting”.
