Class XII student ends life in Surat

A class XII student committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Dindoli area Friday afternoon.

This is the fifth case of a student committing suicide in Surat ever since board examinations began.

According to police,the deceased,Seema Chorasiya (19),was a student of Gyan Bharti school at Limbayat and had appeared for her last exam paper of computer science on Wednesday.

After she returned home,she started crying. When her father inquired,she replied she had done well.

Since Thursday morning,the girl had not come out from her room,the police said.

Seema was alone in her house on Friday afternoon when she hanged herself. Her mother was first to see her body after she returned home from the market.

The body has been sent to New Civil hospital for post-mortem,Dindoli police inspector A H Rajput said.
