Bootlegger ends life,blames cops

An alleged bootlegger from Rajkot jumped to death off a bridge alleging harassment by five policemen of the Morbi police station. Rafiq Makrani (45) committed suicide on Sunday morning,but his family refused to take his body from the hospital after postmortem,demanding action against the policemen named in a suicide note. The family accepted the body on Monday morning after the police inspector initiated an inquiry into the matter.
