Car manufacturers often offer attractive deals during festive seasons to boost sales when customers are high on a purchase spree. This time is a little bit different though, as just after the festive season car makers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata are offering some very serious deals on their entry level cars.
Starting with India’s biggest car maker, Maruti Suzuki is offering a sizeable discount of Rs. 39,000 on the Alto 800 LXi. This has brought down the on-road Delhi price of the LXi variant of the Alto 800 from Rs. 3.19 lakh to Rs. 2.80 lakh. This is Rs. 15,000 lower than the ex-showroom Delhi price of the Alto 800 LXi which is pegged at Rs. 2.95 lakh.
This rosy picture applies for first time car buyers too, as leaving out the exchange bonus results in the on-road Delhi price of the Alto 800 LXi being totaled at Rs. 3 lakh.
Tata Motors on the other hand is offering a discount of Rs. 38,000 on the top-end Twist variant of it’ s entry level car, the Nano.
The country’s second largest car maker, Hyundai is offering an even better deal on it’s entry level car, the Eon. The Hyundai Eon D-Lite+ usually retails at Rs. 3.60 lakh, but you can now have one for Rs. 3.12 lakh on-road Delhi. This is Rs. 7,000 less than the Rs. 3.19 lakh ex-showroom Delhi price of the car, making it a rather tempting deal indeed. If you are not offering a car in exchange, you can still pick up an Eon D-Lite+ for Rs. 3.37 lakh on-road Delhi, which still makes for a good deal.
Tata Motors on the other hand is offering a discount of Rs. 38,000 on the top-end Twist variant of it’ s entry level car, the Nano. The Tata Nano Twist retails at Rs. 2.62 lakh on-road Delhi, while the discount is offering it at Rs. 2.24 lakh on-road Delhi. This is Rs. 7,000 less than the ex-showroom Delhi price of the Nano Twist which is penned at Rs. 2.31 lakh as of now.
If you were looking at purchasing an entry-level car, this is one of the best times to go in for one, considering the fact that the cars mentioned are available with a final sticker price which happens to be less than their ex-showroom prices.
