Pachuri's new post existed since TERI inception: Lawyer

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Talking about R K Pachauri being reinstated as executive vice-chairman of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), his lawyer Ashish Dikshit on Wednesday argued that the post provided to him is not new, as it was there since the institute's inception. He added that if seen factually it is not a promotion, it should rather be called as a demotion as earlier he was the he was TERI's Chairman and Director General. Dikshit further stated that Pauchuri had followed all legal procedures and the permission to rejoin the institute was also granted by the court.
