Tejasvi Surya is one of the well-known and young faces of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and an MP from Bangalore South constituency in the Lok Sabha. Born on January 16, 1991, Tejasvi has quickly risen to prominence in the Indian political landscape due to his articulate oratory skills and staunch nationalism.
Tejasvi Surya's political journey began at a young age when he joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the BJP. He actively participated in student politics and gained experience in grassroots-level organizing and campaigning. His ability to connect with the youth and his passion for nationalistic ideals soon caught the attention of the party leadership.
In the 2019 general elections, Tejasvi contested from the prestigious Bangalore South constituency, known as a BJP stronghold. Despite being relatively new to electoral politics, he secured a resounding victory, defeating his opponents by a significant margin. He continued his success in the subsequent election of 2024 and retained his seat with a comfortable margin.
As a Member of Parliament, Tejasvi Surya has been a vocal advocate for the conservative and nationalist agenda of the BJP. His fiery speeches have garnered attention both within and outside his constituency.
