Sunil Kumar Soni biography

Sunil Kumar Soni is a political leader from Chhattisgarh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Chhatisgarh’s Raipur constituency. He was born on November 28, 1961, to his parents, Kanwar Lal Ji Soni and Rukmani Devi Soni.

His political journey began with his election as the Mayor of Raipur, a position he held from 5th January 2004 to 5th January 2010. His tenure as Mayor was marked by numerous developmental initiatives that transformed the city of Raipur.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, from the Raipur constituency in Chhattisgarh as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His victory in the elections was a testament to his popularity among the masses and his commitment to serving the people of Raipur.
