India, US to launch satellite on climate change in 2021

New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): India and the United States are collaborating to build a satellite on climate change which will be launched in 2021, said US ambassador to India Richard Verma.Divulging details, Verma said space agencies are developing NASA –ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar project or NISAR and plan to launch it from India’s impressive geo-synchronised satellite launch vehicle in 2021. Verma added that the satellite will use advance radar imaging to provide an unprecedented detail view of earth.
