Sangam Lal Gupta is a political leader from Uttar Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on April 1, 1971, in Kartr Medinaganj, Uttar Pradesh.
His upbringing in Uttar Pradesh served as a springboard for his aspirations in politics. After completing his high school education, he gained the information and abilities needed to negotiate the complexity of Indian politics successfully.
His distinguished political career has been marked by noteworthy accomplishments that have cemented his standing as a pivotal player in Uttar Pradesh politics. Under the banner of Apna Dal (Sonelal), he was elected as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2017 from the Pratapgarh Vidhan Sabha constituency.
He quit AD(S) to join BJP in 2019 and went on to contest and win the 2019 Lok Sabha election from Pratapgarh Lok Sabha seat. In March 2021, he was promoted as the National General Secretary of the BJP OBC Morcha, showcasing his leadership capabilities and commitment to representing marginalized communities within the party.
