Ramachandra Guha

Ramachandra Guha is a writer-historian who has authored several books including the popular India after Gandhi. Apart from writing and teaching at various international universities, Guha is also a columnist. He is a recipient of awards including the Ramnath Goenka Prize for excellence in journalism, Sahitya Akademi Award, Daily Telegraph/Cricket Society prize, the Malcolm Adideshiah Award for excellence in social science research. Guha has also been felicitated with the Padma Bhushan award in 2009. Guha was awarded a honorary doctorate in the humanities by Yale University. A member of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators of BCCI, Guha resigned in June 2017.
