Jat agitation: Bride airlifted from Haryana to Delhi

Rewari (Haryana), Feb 24 (ANI): With the ongoing Jat agitation in Haryana, a woman whose marriage was scheduled in New Delhi had to be airlifted by her family so that the marriage could be held precisely on the auspicious timing (Mahoorat). The bride and her family members got stuck in the major traffic blockade on the NH-1 due to the ongoing Jat agitation. At the last moment, her family members arranged a chartered flight for her and she was airlifted from Karnal airbase to New Delhi. Though the bride reached the marriage venue, her immediate family members, grandparents could not make it to the venue on time. Bride's father said it was important for them to hire a chopper as the Jat agitation was in full flow and it seemed impossible to reach the venue on time.
