PMC decentralises cell curbing pre-natal sex determination, evokes mixed reaction

The PMC has directed ward medical officers to enforce the PC-PNDT Act. While some activists pointed out that the cell would lose control over the enforcement of the Act, others said that it would unburden the dedicated cell.
